He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Shifflette of Lewes, DE; his children, John Carl Shifflette of Lewes, DE, Lara Estelle Hill (Kurt) of Lewes, DE and Christina Lynne Shifflette (Cortez McDaniel) of Washington, DC; and his nephew Bob Campbell (Lois). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
