He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Seay and Catherine Seay; his former wife Leonilda "Rose" Seay; and his siblings, Travis, Lee and Elizabeth "Betty" Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his stepchildren, David Shuttleworth (Sharon) of Collegeville, PA, Dean Shuttleworth (Stephanie) of Lewes, DE and Dawn Everhart (Gary) of St. Leonard, MD; his sons, Joseph Seay Jr. (Sally) of Marlborough, MA and Michael Seay (Megan) of Medford, NJ.; his grandchildren, Jacob, Riley, Logan, Jessica, Dawson, Liam, Ethan, Catherine, Trey, Oliver, Bennett and Vera; his great grandchild Nora; and his siblings, Lillian Schoen, Paul and John Seay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
