She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Frankowski and Philomena Frankowski (Mezzanotte); and her son Jeffrey Thomas Gonce. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her son David Lyman Gonce; and her sisters, Judith Oles and Janis Krauss.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edmond Catholic Church (409 King Charles Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (660 Pilottown Rd, Lewes, DE 19958).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Little Sisters of the Poor, whose mission of serving Christ through caring for the elderly poor was especially meaningful to Joyce, or to a Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington.
