He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his daughter Gwen; his parents, Rebecca Kearney Knapp and Laurence Bernard Knapp; and his brother Ronnie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan McClements (Bill), Rebecca Adams (Chris) and Nancy Piccione (Anthony); his grandchildren, Will M. (Liz), Annie (Seth), Becky (Ben), Will A., Caroline, Christopher, Anna and Leslie; his sister Adele Hudson Trout; and his brother-in-law Jack Agnew (Carolyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lewes Yacht Club (2701 Cedar St, Lewes, DE 19958).
