We announce the death of Lucinda H. Allen (Lewes, Delaware), who passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 99. Lucinda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garfield Hall and Maggie Elizabeth Rogers Hall; her husbands, Walter Allen and Deacon James White; her children, Walter Allen and Fayetta Allen; and her siblings, Clifford, Levin, Aldon, Coley, Sylvester, Clinton, Elmer, Ernest, Agnes and Leona.
She is survived by: her children, Winfred Allen, Wendell Hall (Delthia), Gerald Allen (Debra), Lucille Rich, Carolyn Vickers, Joyce Logan, Vivian King, Gai Allen (Dennis) and Felonise Norwood (Gemez); and her sisters-in-law, Ernestine Hall and Evelyn Hall. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren.
