Marvin L. Carney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin L. Carney of Lewes, Delaware, born in Cheswold, Delaware, who passed away on March 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Becky; his former wife Diane; his family, Minnie, Fred Bowen, Ed, Tonya Durham, Carlton "Buster" Coker, Dennis Coker, Carla Coker, Curtis Coker, Christopher Coker, Randy, DeeAnn Coker and Peter Coker; his children, Jan Kauffman, Leigh Ann Luscan, Sean Donovan and Colleen Carney; his children-in-law, Dave, Claire and Wes; and his grandchildren, Trey Kauffman, Rowan, Simon Luscan, Leighton, Ella Donovan and Archer Coverdale. He was also cherished by his children and many friends.

Donations in honor of Marvin's big, creative, and adventurous life can be made to Delaware Hospice, where he and his family were cared for with the highest levels of skill, compassion, and kindness.
