He is survived by: his parents, Larry M. Lawson Jr. and Deborah L. Birdsall; his wife Terri Lawson; his sons, Zane Lawson, Maxwell Lawson and Robert Cooke; his grandson Braxton Lawson; and his pet Cooper.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
