She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Evelyn Simmons (Jones) and Lumuel Peter Simmons; and her sister Maryjo Tyrrell. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly A. Winklepleck of Selbyville, DE; her brother Dell Simmons of Indian Head, MD; her grandchildren, Chris Winklepleck and Jessica Leighton; her great grandchild Avery Rose Leighton; and her nieces and nephews, Schree Rusevelyn, Hanna, Brandon Rusevelyn, Amanda Simmons, Cameron, Sean Simmons and Dustin Simmons.
