He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Berger and Louise Berger; his son-in-law Paul Skinner; and his brothers-in-law, Charles "Butch" Orr and Tim Patter.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Berger; his children, Michael Berger, Lisa Meterko (Greg Meterko), Laura Skinner and Sharon Adams (Jim Adams); his grandchildren, John Paul, Harley, Madeleine (Justin), Ryan, Shelby and Tanner; his great grandchild Elianna; and his sisters, Marge Abate (Al Abate), Mary Orr and Joan Patter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
