He is survived by: his nephews, Jason Sweeney and Cody Hopkins; his sisters, Sheri Sweeney (George Sweeney), Wendy McVicker and Lori Hopkins (Bill Hopkins); his stepdaughter Lindsay Haines; his grandson Mason Johnston; and also Danny Slagle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Children's Beach House (1800 Bay Ave, Lewes, DE 19958).
