He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Emma Smith Long; and his grandson Gary W. Diamond, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Arlene D. Hayes Long; his daughters, Kellie Diamond (Gary) and Christine Fromal (Harry McCrossin); his grandchildren, Alexandra Yotter, Ryan Yotter, Brett Fromal and Gage Fromal; his great grandchildren, Evan and Ella Yotter; his sister Maxine Roberts (Bill); and his sister-in-law Barbara Nissell (Jim).
