It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne George Weimer in Lewes, Delaware, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond George Weimer and Margaret Lillian Weimer (Walters); and his stepson David Matthew Cohen. He is survived by: his wife Diana Stamatoff Cohen of Lewes, DE; his stepsons, Robert T. Cohen of Hyannis, MA and Mark Stephen Cohen (Heather) of Mashpee, MA; his sister Susan Weimer Jaquette (John) of Ithaca, N. Y; his sister-in-law Janice B. Jochen (Ed) of Newark, DE.; and his sibling's children, Anne Jochen, Nancy S. Davenport (Darin), Janice S. Burian (Phil), J. Scott Jaquette (Catherine), Brian A. Jaquette (Brandy), Michael Jochen (Alison), John Edward Jochen and Matthew Stamatoff (Alejandia). He is also survived by ten grand-nephews and two grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the University of Delaware Scholarship Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
