He was predeceased by : his parents, William A. Barrett and Catherine Barrett; his wife Mary Veronica Barrett; and his daughter Patricia Kushner. He is survived by : his children, William B. Barrett (Kelley) and Michelle Sabin (Michael); his grandchildren, Ashley Kushner, Emiley Kushner, Craig Kushner, Jr., Meghan Sabin, Allison Barrett, William K. Barrett, Sarah Sabin, Catherine Barrett and Abigail Sabin; and his siblings, Mary Catherine Rotert, Robert, Joseph and Paul Barrett.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium-Atkins-Lodge Chapel (16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958). Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edmond's Catholic Church (409 King Charles Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
