He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Gehrlein and Eunice Gehrlein (Knauff). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Eller; his stepdaughters, Nikki Carlsen (Christopher) and Lauren Dymond (Aaron); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Grady Carlsen, Elena, Noah and Ezra Dymond; and his siblings, Gordon Gehrlein (Martha), Robert Gehrlein and Linda Kepner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
