She is survived by: her mother Winifred Slayton; her stepfather Lawrence Young; her children, Reginald Slayton Sr. (Keyshea) of Slaughter Neck, DE and Pansey Slayton of Lincoln, DE; her grandchildren, Damon Whaley, Akira Slayton, Daymir Slayton, Reginald Slayton Jr. and Gabriel Slayton-Cosme; her siblings, Norman Slayton of San Diego, CA, Glenn Slayton of Dover, DE, Kathleen Slayton of Slaughter Neck, DE and Monica Slayton of Slaughter Neck, DE; her godchildren, Kyle Burton, Terrance Slayton and Henry Nesmith Jr.; and her aunts and uncles, Mildred Rodriguez (Jose) of Slaughter Neck, DE, Dorothy Davis (Cheryl A Benn) of Philadelphia, PA, Ronald T Benn of Bala Cynwyd, PA and Charles W Benn (Eugenia) of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist (23115 Slaughter Neck Rd, Lincoln, DE 19960). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Old Hickory Cemetery.
