He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Ridgeway Sr. and Dorthy "Dot" Morgan Ridgeway; his siblings, Floyd Morgan, Benjamin Ridgeway Jr., Anthony Ridgeway Sr., Betty Garnette, Annaetta E. Ridgeway and Mary Garnette; his granddaughters, Aliyah Rose Ridgeway and Adria Stella; and his pet Maxwell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Ridgeway, Benjamin Garnett (Smokey) and Leona Morris; his wife Teresa Ridgeway; his grandchildren, Carla Ridgway, Lee Ridgway (Katie), Robin Ridgway, Brian Stella, Katie Stella, Jade Hand, Jenna Ridgeway, Alyssa Grainger (Mark) and Ashlyn Ridgeway; his great grandchildren, Alec, Tierra, Terah, Kalim, Santanah, Amelya, Artys, Connor, Cole, Madysin, Dominick, June, Joanna and Jett; his great great grandchild Za'khari; and also, Bandi, Tammy Stella (Brian), Charles "Chuck" Ridgeway Jr. (Jill) and Forrest Ridgeway (Marietta).
Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Torbert Funeral Chapel (1145 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
