He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Ethel O'Brien; his son Kevin; and his granddaughter Isabella. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. O'Brien; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Linda; his grandson Nicolas O'Brien; his sister Judith Buckney; and his siblings-in-law, Stan and Jan Decowski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
