He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sammons, Sr. and Bernice Cox; and his siblings, Barbara Slaybaugh and Edward Sammons, Jr. (Sammons). He is survived by: his wife Dolores Marie Sammons of Magnolia, DE; his children, Tracy Hynes (Pat) of Lewes, DE, Scott Spinella (Cathy) of Lewes, DE and David Sammons, Jr. (Nita) of Martinsburg, WVA.; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Hynes, Andrew Hynes, Aiden Sammons and Blake Sammons.
