He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Hilton Dow and Lena May Cookson; his siblings, Ernest Dow and Marion Dow-Elkins; his son Christopher Dow; his stepsons, Gregory Veilleux and Gary Veilleux; and his stepgrandson Zackary Rickell.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Dow; his children, Robert Dow, Virginia Joslyn, Christina Hilt and Rebecca Dow; his stepchildren, Russel Veilleux, Frankie Dale Rife, Jeannie Rash, Brenda Veilleux, Bryan Veilleux and Barry Hearin; his grandchildren, Marshall Roberson, Tanya Dow, Jessica Dow, Nicholas Dow and Amanda Joslyn; his stepgrandchildren, Dr. Tiffany Rife-Oman, Stephanie Hearin, Stacy Rash Emory, Jason Rash, Derek Veilleux, Angie, Danielle Veilleux, Nicole Veilleux, Melissa Veilleux and Jennifer Rickell; his great grandchildren, Charles Prough Jr., Alden Dow, Cameron Dow, Zeus Joslyn and Elias Joslyn; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Shane Emory, Sean Nagyiski, Adeline Rash, Colton Rife, Seldon Rife-Oman, Savannah Rickell, Logan Rickell MyKenzie Veilleux, Georgia Porter, Donovan Porter, Alizay Walker and Brooklyn Walker.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Torbert Funeral Chapel (1145 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at the Final Resting Place Odd Fellows Cemetery - Camden (35 Rising Sun Rd, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934).
