She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Smith and Moltie Smith; and her sisters, Joanne, Judy and Lue.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny, Kimberly and Tina; her brothers, David and Pat; her sister-in-law Patricia; her grandchildren, Ranee, Jacqueline and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Austin, Caleb, Jax, Giovonni and Maverick; and her great great grandchildren, Grayson and Levi.
In a final act of generosity and selflessness, Kay made the decision years ago to donate her body to science, ensuring she could keep helping others even after her passing.
