With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Apito of Magnolia, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antionette Apito and Salvatore Apito; and his siblings, Ann Rankin, Peter Apito and Susie Janasy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Apito; and his stepdaughters, Paula Atkinson, Vickie Plumback (Christopher Plumback) and Dawn Vitello Mangan (Shane Mangan). He is also survived by grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bob's name to Delaware Food Bank or Plant a Tree in his memory.
