She was predeceased by: her parents, James Malloy and Addie Elizabeth Washington (Jenkins); and her husband Sylvester Bass, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Nequete Collins (Chuckey), Ishmael Bass (Lalita), Saladin Bass and Illyas Bass; and her stepchildren, Sylvester Bass, Jr. (Mary) and Stephanie Bass. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
