He is survived by: his wife Claudette E. Ringgold (Bush); his son Alan Ringgold (Crystal); his siblings, Marjorie Fields, Janice Garnett (Felix), Patricia Groce (Josh), Merilyn Vincent and James Benson (Patty); and his grandchildren, Tekeia, Devin, Qourtney, Shakira, Rapheal and Amani. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
