She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Mary Louise Dorsey (Swann) and Charles Dorsey, Sr.; her daughters, Marcella Annette "Marcy" and Diana Watson-Morris; her grandson Aaron Watson; her siblings, William Dorsey, Charles Dorsey, Jr., Ida Mae Dorsey, Betty Lou Talbot and Helen Delores Knight; and her close friend Reverend Beverly L. Dorsey.
She is survived by: her daughter Carmi Watson (Darren Harris, Sr.); her son-in-law Roland Ross, Jr.; her grandchildren, LaToya Meadows (Nelson), Marshai Watson, Nichelle Dutton (Evan Williams) and Malik Morris; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Cameron, Z'yaire, Z'yione and Zykeia; her great great grandchildren, Harmony, Haidyn, Halo and Romeo; and her brothers, James "Jamesy" Dorsey, Donald "Donnie" Dorsey (Lauretta) and Richard "Sonny" Dorsey (Beverly). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
