She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Howe and Harold Howe; her son David; and her brother Phil Howe. She is survived by: her husband Austin "Buck" Ward; her daughters, Renee Kandravi (Rob), Tina Stone (Mark), Amy Ledoux, Elaine Read and Debbie Lloyd; her grandchildren, RJ Kandravi (Heather), Samantha Shick (Brian), Staci Whitt (Alex), Justin Stone, Katlyn MacDonald, Lexi Ledoux, Rebecca Read (John), Ricky Read (Kelley) and BJ Lloyd; and her great grandchildren, Isla, Ava, Harper, Olivia, Charlotte, Lilly, Sophia, Cam of Chase, JJ, Madelyn and Emma.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
