He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis C. Hernandez and Marta G. Hernandez; and his wife Sandra White Hernandez. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Phillip J. Scalzi (Sharon Scalzi) of Newark, DE, Barb Scalzi (Tom Hahn) of Middletown, DE and Patrick J. Scalzi of Manassas, VA; his brother Luis C. Hernandez (Hyon Jung) of Austin, TX; his brother-in-law William White of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Michael, Emma, Jessica, Shaun, Sophia, Mckenzie and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Elenor, Phineous, Eowyn, Juniper, Phillip and Phoebe; and his nieces, Mita, Ginny, Elena, Anna and Angie.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Beaver Hill Cemetery.
