She was predeceased by: her husband Rick Shaffer; her brother P. Richard Stradley; and her parents, Helen Stradley and Preston Stradley. She is survived by: her son Jason Shaffer; her grandchildren, Mark Richard Shaffer and Carolyn Rose Shaffer; her sister-in-law Mary Stradley; and her sibling's children, Sarah Porter (Rod), Gale Stevens (Bob), Deborah Stradley and Rick Stradley (Mary).
