With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Mattocks Taylor of Middletown, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David M. Taylor and Ellen Taylor (Tiernan). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sweezy Taylor; his sons, Michael D. Taylor (Anette) of Fairfield, CT and Joseph W. Taylor (April) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Henry, Gabriel, Emma and William; his brothers, William M. Taylor (Maria) of Newark and James R. Taylor (Dennis Coen) of Mechanicsville, VA; and his nieces, Christina Linauts (Andris), Madeleine and Caroline.
