He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar McFarland and Jewelle McFarland (Dennison); his brother James; and his sister-in-law Barbara McFarland. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his sister Diane McFarland; his children, Michelle Lippert (John) and William McFarland (Nichole); his grandchildren, Brent McFarland, Alexander Lippert, Elizabeth Usilton (Ben), Andrew Lippert, Aidan Lippert, Victoria McFarland and Sarah McFarland; and his great grandchildren, Rylee and Isabella Usilton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lyric Theater (20 E Main St, Frostburg, MD 21532).
