She was predeceased by: her daughter Lynn Ann Ritter. She is survived by: her husband Howard C. Ritter Jr.; her son Daniel; her daughter-in-law Georgia; and her grandsons, Cade and Clayton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

“Elaine was one of the most caring, genuine person I've ever know. She touched so many people in her life and was loved by everyone who crossed her path of life. She always had a kind word to say, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed life to the fullest. I was saddened to hear of her passing. God called His angel from earth to be with the other angels in heaven. Praying God comfort's those she left behind, that her memory will get you through.”
