He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Shallcross, Sr. and Olive Jane Shallcross of Middletown, Delaware.; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by : his son Todd (Jan); his granddaughter Lexie (Steven); and his brothers, Thomas Shallcross (Betty) and Richard Shallcross (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Delaware, 1901 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803 or Renee's Rescues of Newark, Delaware: 1291 Churchman Road, Newark, DE 19713.
