It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Catherine Skinner of Middletown, Delaware, born in Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Moody (Walter Skinner) and Madeline Moody; her granddaughter Dawn Turner; her great grandchild Malachi Dendy; and her close friend Mary Louise Womack.
She is survived by: her cousin Douglas Waters Sr.; her children, Sharon Turner (Eugene), Ernest Waters (Jeanette), Valerie Skinner and Tammie Skinner; her grandchildren, Danielle Havelow (Greg), Donyea Cale-Salaam (Eric), TeNisha Skinner, Omar Skinner, Jasmine Skinner, Ashley Skinner, Amber Skinner, Alissa Leon (Andres) and Douglas Watkins; her cousins, Mary Wakefield and Rose Waters; and her close friends, Hollis Russell and Gary Williams. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; ten great- great grandchildren.
