He was predeceased by: his father William Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Davis (Schafer); his son Steven George Davis (Sharon); his grandchildren, Landon, Madelyn, Benjamin, Evan and Lincoln; his son Matthew Harvey Davis (Rachael); his granddaughter Marielle; his sisters, Joanne Rager, Carol Perry (Andy) and Andria Smith (Sheldon); his foster brother Walter Streets (Richard); and his pet Avery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Even before Covid but especially since then, one of the greatest joys of his life was sitting on the porch with his glass of iced tea greeting neighbors, friends, and family.
