She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Matson and Marguerite Matson (Pollitt); her brother Larry Matson; and her nephew Trey Pierson. She is survived by: her husband Albert Freeman; and her sisters, Sandy Margist, Bonnie Race (Charlie) and Sharon Pierson. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
