He was predeceased by: his former wife Janie Marrero; and his grandson Darrell Marrero. He is survived by: his wife Helena; his children, Ricarldo (Patricia), Lolita Marrero and Edward McNamee (Amy); his grandchildren, Ricarldo Jr., Adria Hayes (Hakim), Haley Simpson and Skye McNamee; and his great grandchild Nazim Bailey.
