He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Janice Ann Whitby, Sr. (Bender); his grandparents, James H. and Addi Whitby; and his brother Mike Whitby.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Whitby (Stephanie Bryant) and Elizabeth Whitby (Jaquan Stevenson); his brothers, John Whitby, Jr. (Jody) and Wayne Whitby (Annette); his aunt Sharon Halter; and his grandchildren, Emilia Stevenson and Jack Whitby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
