He is survived by: his children, James Money Jr. (Amber) of Newark and Erin Money-Sheffey (Joseph) of Johnson City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Taylor and Ellie; his stepgranddaughter Rune; and his siblings, Richard Money and Carol Zepke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
