She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Sterling and Lois Price (Moore); and her siblings, Phil Sterling, Margaret Sterling and Sid Sterling.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph G. James (Cindy) of Parsonsburg, MD and Jeffery James (Joan) of Middletown, DE; and her granddaughter Danielle James of Durham, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
