She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert VanSant and Grace VanSant; her husband S. Davis Walmsley; and her siblings, Dorothy "Sis" Davidson (Clem), Betty Coleman (Billy) and Pratt VanSant (Lois).
She is survived by: her brother Albert "Bud" VanSant (Lois); her children, Gwynn Wiley (Terry), Tina Burris (Danny) and Dennis K. Walmsley (Susan); and her grandchildren, Tera Paulus (Millard), J. Jason Wiley (Stacey), Kemp Walmsley (Tammy), Katie Hall (Ronnie), Danny Burris (Amanda) and Shelly Pruitt (Nick). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and many loving nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home (212 N Broad St, Middletown, DE 19709). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
