He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Allione, Sr. and Marie Pipitone (Becker); his daughter Frances Marie Collender; and his brothers, John, Steven and Paul.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Allione (Ennis); his children, DebbieSue, Joe Allione, Jr. (Becca) and Vickie Lynne Newcomer (Scott); his sister Judy Haynes (Ernie); his grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor of Lewis, DJ, Sean, Joey, Eleanor, Scotty and Jessi; Helen, Terry Swartz, Alice, Herb Hoflinger, Trish, Ron Porter, Barbara, John Colombo, Jeanie and Walter Brandli. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

He was an avid reader and loved spending time with his faithful golden, Maggie, who had to leave him right after Covid at the age of 14.
