She was predeceased by: her parents, Von W. Gordon and Leona Gordon (Cheney); and her husband Alan F. Simpson. She is survived by: her sons, Edward M. Ellis of Smyrna, Gregory C. Ellis of Clayton, C. Patrick Ellis (Trish) of Lincoln University, PA and John P. Ellis of Smyrna. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
