As we bid Melody farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melody is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her mother Lou Ann Harris; her significant other Pepper; her siblings, James L. Davis Jr. (Felicia), Nicole Davis of Dover and Moneca Davis-Graham (Corey) of New Castle, Delaware; and her nieces and nephews, Jamira Terrell, Darren Davis, Takaysha Swanson, Zion Davis, Jordin Graham (Karen), Morgan Graham and Brandyn Graham (Cherie). She is also survived by extended family, church family, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abundant Life & Worship Center (250 Booth St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
