He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Bright, and Mildred Bright, Sr. (Smith); his former wife Jacqueline Bright; and his brother Donald J. Bright. He is survived by: his wife Carol G. Bright (Williams); his son David K. Bright; his grandsons, David K. Bright II and Daniel Bright; his niece Audrey Bright-Greene (Anthony); his great-niece Emerald Greene; his great-nephew Forrest Greene; his stepsons, Sean J. Mashburn, Sr. and Jeffrey Robinson; and his stepgrandchildren, Sean Jr., Corey, Jayden and Kianah.
