We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, at the age of 88, Rachel A Mandes (Middletown, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Mandes (Clayton) and Louis C. Mandes; her siblings, Mary Lou Mandes Roberts (Charles), Louis Charles Mandes, Jr., Martha Mandes Kalafut (Michael) and Joseph Morris Mandes; and her nephew Clayton Morris Roberts.
She is survived by: her wife Katherine A. Means; her sibling's children, Charles L. Roberts (Becky Jester), Franny Roberts Carrow (Walter), Tracy Mandes Smulski (Michael), Jeff Mandes, Angela Mandes Dorrell (Beau), David Kalafut, Michael Kalafut and Mark Kalafut; her great-niece Kathleen Clayton Roberts; her great-nephew Brett Landell Roberts; her nephew Pierce Kingsley Schneidewind; and her siblings-in-law, Rebecca Means Schneidewind and Russell Schneidewind.
