He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Shimko and Sarah J. Shimko (Wharton); and his siblings, James Shimko and Sandra Tener. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann (Blasko); his children, Christine Dillman (Mark) and Ron J. Shimko (Cris); his brother Jack Shimko (Donna); his grandchildren, Alexis, Michael (Brianna), Brandon, Brian and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Emma Grace and Brinley Mae.
