He was predeceased by: his brother Allen Childress; his father Roy A. Childress; and his sister Michelle Burris. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Childress Wilkinson; his sister Phyllis Justison; his significant other Ginger; and his daughters, Megan (Raymond) and Ashley (Joey). He is also survived by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
