He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Shahan; his wife Barbara Shahan; and his siblings, Mildred Walls, Anna Mae Gruwell, Edith Shahan, Roy "Doc" Shahan, Melvin "Sonny" Shahan Jr., Paul Allen Sr. and Dave Daniels.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Daniels and Samantha Atkinson (Pat); his grandchildren, Stacey (Bill), Sam, Tina (Rick), Paul Jr., Amy (Johnny) and Dave (Shelley); and his great grandchildren, Kelsi (Dylan), Will, Olivia, David, Makayla, Nick, Hayden, Noah, Lily and Braden.
