We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Sylvester Bass Sr. of Middletown, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sylvester may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sylvester touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Bass and Minnie Bass (Patterson). He is survived by: his wife Addie J. Bass (Malloy); and his children, Sylvester Bass, Jr. (Mary), Stephanie Bass, Ishmael Bass (Lalita), Saladin Bass, Illyas Bass I and Nequete Collins (Chuckey). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sylvester's memory to Addie Bass to help offset funeral expenses.
