She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Marrs, Jr.; and her daughter Emily Lee. She is survived by: her son William (Julie); her brother Robert Godwin of Stanardsville, VA; and her grandchildren, Christopher Thorp (Helena), William A. Marrs, IV and Stephanie Nicastro (Connor). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
