Gerald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gerald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gerald will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lank and Retta Lane; and his wife Marian "Pat" Lank. He is survived by: his brother David Lane; his sister-in-law Linette Lane; his sister Carolyn Lank; and his nieces, Valerie Lane, Natalie Lane and Audrey Lane.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Berry-Short Funeral Home (119 NW Front St, Milford, DE 19963). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Milford Community Cemetery (300 S Rehoboth Blvd, Milford, DE 19963).
